Phoenix, AZ (September 26, 2019)
Bassrush Massive hosted by Relentless Beats was a night to remember for everyone who attended. Each year, Bassrush drops an incredible lineup with artists who put on unforgettable performances showcasing their music. All of the amentities that Rawhide provides, along with the staff hired to work always leaves me with a smile on my face! Getting into the festival wasn’t a hassle, traffic was light. The Arizona summer heat was the only issue, other than that everything was smooth getting in and out the festival. As you scanned your wristband the bass from inside welcomed you. Rawhide is always well prepared to throw down a great event accompanied by top tier artists.
All opening acts were unbelievable, including Marauda, formerly known as “Mastadon”. His new sounds have created a wave in the bass music scene this past year and his name has grown exponentially. Riot Ten played many of his new tracks and set the tone for the upcoming artists. Herobust came on stage with electricity, dropping his heavy songs “Bruh”, “WTF”, and “Move Mint”. Following Herobust, the trio of Black Tiger Sex Machine took stage. I have never seen a ‘BTSM’ live set and didn’t know what to expect. The energy that took over the crowd was beautiful. If you have a chance to see these guys in person, I highly recommend it. Flux Pavilion headlined and began his set shredding his guitar then went on to play his familiar tracks “Bass Canon”, “Savage”, and “I Can’t Stop”. Flux’s transitions and track-list made it an incredible set. His music never disappoints and always brings the best moments to each festival he plays.
Overall, Bassrush was managed amazingly well by Relentless Beats and Insomniac. The brand ‘Bassrush’ and their group continues to make an everlasting impact on the hearts and minds of those that love bass music and will continue to do so years to come.
