On July 23rd we sat down with Holland's Spag Heddy to discuss the origins of his name, his long awaited on going tour in the U.S. and his 'back 2 back' set with Dubloadz at Toxic Summer Festival the night prior. Not only did this bass, pasta aficionado's set meet fan expectations that night at District N9ne, but we learned that Spag is just a great person all around. As we prepared for his interview, Spag kicked back on the green room sofa, sipping on a beer and eating (no joke) a waiting bowl of pasta. The further we got into his life and tour, it was a fleeting thought that we were within the confines of a venue and not sitting in a friends living room, discussing our similar passion for pasta noodles and bass music with a loveable foreign exchange student. Hey, at 12am these things can happen!
Regardless of what it is or what it was, the entire experience was a truly humbling. We got to see a side of Spag Heddy not known before. An all around great night that we highly suggest friends and fans encounter in this candid interview with Spag Heddy.
Much love and thanks go out to himself and his crew for making the nights accommodations. Next up, Spag Heddy will be heading to Australia & New Zealand for a six city tour starting the 19th of August through the 27th.
