As festival season comes to a close, and sweater weather is upon us, I would like to take the time to speak on the closer of the season: Budweiser's Made In America Festival 2015.
Bassnectar, being the main EDM headliner for Saturday evening, gave an array of mixes and beats, which had all of the Philadelphia attendees jumping, dancing, and in the zone. I, for one, could not stop my body from gyrating, and became family with men and women around me feeling the same emotions that I had been. Being only the second time I had seen the King of Bass, I expected a similar performance to that of his performance at Moonrise Festival 2015. My expectations were exceeded, not to mention dead wrong, when the crowd was graced with a performance completely different than his previous. When the set came to a close, you could still feel the bass beating in your chest, the music ringing in your ears, all as a precursor to the following evening; Axwell /\ Ingrosso.
Swedish House Mafia members, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, delivered to the massive crowd of fans on Sunday evening at Budweiser's Made In America Festival. Luring attendees from A-Trak's close, Axwell /\ Ingrosso performed originals, as well as Swedish House mixes. The duo did a phenomenal job at awakening a physically exhausted crowd with a completely different style of music than Bassnectar, but with just as much energy and thrill as one would expect.
Until next year, festival season. You will be missed.
