Up and coming Producer/DJ/Dubstep Master from Los Angeles, CA., PatrickReza, has been making some major waves in the EDM world these past two years. While sweeping the blog "Hype Machine's" Popular Slots, he has gained some serious kudos from EDM artist, Bassnectar, which is one of his major influences, and quite frankly, one of the best.
Once PatrickReza spoke with Lorin (Bassnectar) and learned that he was a major fan of his remixes, as well as original pieces, Reza was given the gas he needed to pursue producing and DJ'ing as a full time career. (Elliot, T. RollRandom Chronicle). See interview below:
PatrickReza emulates qualities of a hardworking producer and DJ, in that he does not just "put together" his mixes, but he perfects them. His track Take Me Away took a four-month time span to finish, and he went on to say,
"Take Me Away was a serious process from start to finish. It started out with such a rudimentary idea and really took span over 4 months of production to wrap up. The vocalist Jilian, went to high school with me. She’s one of the best singers I’ve had the pleasure of working with and am definitely going to do more tracks with her in the future," (Elliot, T. RollRandom Chronicle).

After listening to the track, I have to say that the build up and drop is infectious. It is a track that really hits deep; one you cannot help but move your body to.
It is evident that PatrickReza speaks to the EDM hearts, and we are extremely excited to see what other tracks he throws our way. We are sure to believe that after you listen to Reza's powerful sound, you'll be waiting with us on the edge of your seat for more!

The year is now 2015 and Speilberg still hasn't delivered on my real hover board. Whenever I get real upset because of buttheads like Marty McFly and Calvin Klein, I focus all my energy on "future house" music and breaking things. Try some of these tunes on for size. Batter up!
Rae Sremmurd - No Type (PatrickReza Remix)
Major Lazar - Too Original (KREAM Remix)
Autoerotique & Max Styler - Badman (Torro Torro Remix)
The Chainsmokers - Let You Go (The Golden Pony Remix)

This past weekend at Moonrise Festival in Baltimore, MD., Bassnectar, (Lorin Ashton) was given the green light to curate his own stage at the 2016 Moonrise. Nothing has been confirmed at the moment about whether or not Lorin will be taking this task, however there has been some major implication that he is leaning towards doing so. This news had his followers, known as "bassheads," in a state of pure ecstasy knowing that their Leader could possibly be on his way to creating his own stage with his own artistic views.
Since the news about curating his own stage at Moonrise Festival 2016 had dropped, the petition to have Bassnectar start his own festival has been the topic of conversation for many. There have been 9,780 signatures on this petition in order to have Lorin and his team start a three-night camping festival with a two hour set each night by none other than Bassnectar. The "bassheads" are looking to have artists at this festival that emulate the same values as Bassnectar, in that there are only positive and good vibes in attendance.
"It's always nice to see so much enthusiasm!" Lorin exclaimed when asked by "basshead," Leo Mayo on a Question and Answer section on his website at www.bassnectar.net. Unfortunately, he went on to explain that it may not be possible at the current time, but if he chooses to organize another one, he said, "it won't be because of a petition, it will be because it's a feasible undertaking." The picture below shows the question with response from Lorin.
There is still hope on the horizon that Bassnectar will be curating his own stage in the following year at Moonrise Festival 2016, but "bassheads" will have to hold on tight until he is ready to implement his own festival entirely, and in this house, we think that would be epic.
