Imagine Festival Review
On the pedestal of America’s music heritage, Atlanta holds one of the biggest music festivals on the east-coast. With headliners such as Kaskade, Rl Grime, Bassnectar, Alesso, and Zeds Dead, those that attended had a weekend to explore Atlanta Motor Speedway fantasizing while listening to the world’s greatest producers. Creatives for Imagine Festival prepared you for a stunning yet intriguing stage production that doesn’t match any festival on the eastern seaboard.
A lively start to day one at Oceania Stage (Main Stage) featured Riot Ten, 12th Planet, The Glitch Mob, Galantis, and Armin Van Buuren. Even on day one, the production team never took a step back. Massive flames, pyro, cryo, and confetti were constantly in the air making the performance something out of a dream. As you walk down the vibrating bass-filled metal stairs onto the racetrack, the Disco Inferno stage is waiting for your ears. Acts such as Protohype, Joker, Boogie T B2B Squnto, and Noisa, made the first night just as big as the last.
As day two began, high energy and top tier sounds awaited you at the speedway. Authentic art surrounds you traveling between stages making the experience worthwhile. The people were ecstatic that end of the night presented Adventure Club, Bassnectar, and Alesso at the Oceania stage. This never turned people away from the all new Amazonia stage containing Ekali, Jai Wolf, Cashmere Cat, and Zhu.
An earlier start for the headliners on Sunday was a perfect way to end the weekend. Oceania stage was taken over by Midnite Panda, Getter, Rl Grime, Zeds Dead, and Kaskade. Amazonia featured none other than Yheti B2B Toadface, Lotus, Shpongle, and Griz. With all of those incredible acts in two stages, Disco Inferno gifted us with EDX and Oliver Heldens to end the weekend.
Overall, this was a unbelievable festival held by the Imagine team. The weather was superb and the people that made the trek to Atlanta couldn’t have asked for a better venue than the Atlanta Motor Speedway. If you have yet to attend Imagine Festival, it is unique and unlike any other festival you may attend.
